The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation has approved The Clinic Effingham (“TCE”) registration renewal through to August 22, 2018.

Since its grand opening in late September 2016 to April 2017, The Clinic Effingham has achieved sales of over US$600,000. The growth in sales has been due to strongly increasing patient numbers and high patient retention rates, which are a result of a diligent patient outreach program undertaken by the dispensary’s staff.

As reported by The Illinois Department of Public Health (“IDPH“) on September 6, 20171, IDPH has approved applications for approximately 24,450 qualifying patients, since it began accepting applications on September 2, 2014, and approximately 28,500 individuals have submitted a complete application to IDPH. Total retail sales of medical cannabis in the State of Illinois for August totaled US$7,577,141, which brings the total year-to-date retail sales by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries for the calendar 2017 to just over US$51 million and to almost US$89 million since the program’s inception in November 2015. At this time, there are 53 medical cannabis dispensaries operating in the State of Illinois, with TCE continuing to be the only one in ISP District 12.
